Influence Points
These points are an abstract, invented to make it easier for players and GM to work out just how much clout the PC’s have with the Inquisition.
The players can spend their points on gear and services within the inquisition, and at times outside.
Gaining Influence Points
Influence Points are awarded by the GM whenever the PC has completed a mission and reported back to their controlling inquisitor. The amount of points awarded should be based upon the difficulty, length, and success of the mission. As a general rule the amount of Influence Points awarded should be about half the experience points awarded.
Spending Influence Points
The players can spend their Influence Points on gear and services within the Inquisition and to a lesser extent the Imperium.
At the rate of 1 Influence Point equals 1 Throne the PC’s can by stuff from the Inquisitional quartermaster.
Services can be obtained for prices at the GM’s discretion, which might involve roleplay and possibly a few skill checks. Examples of services are: Sending an Astropathic message -300 points, getting transported to a ship in orbit -200 points, getting the assistance of a PDF platoon -400 points.
